Welcome to Annie Clyde Holt Food Pantry. The pantry was founded by Pastor Angela L Dixon in the Fall of 2018 and named after the late, Annie Clyde Holt for her charitable generosity in feeding the  homeless and families experiencing food insecurity in Essex County area of New Jersey. Mrs. Holt is the mother of our founder, Pastor Angela.

Shortly after starting our services, our production staff had to re-arranging our distribution process after the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic arrived in our community. Understanding our mission, we took on the task to serve our community and minister to the needy.

Our participants consist of an array of ethnic and cultural families that represent our community. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in how we serve the participants.

As a means to support our community we receive assistance and help from volunteers, local vendors and the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

It is our goal and desire to reach “our community, one person and one family at a time.”
